Your Watershed - Focus to the world - Approach BBC-CBC- Others
Canada has the third largest water reserve on the planet and a world obligation to protect it. The Kyoto accord, World Water Expo next summer in Spain etc are examples of the global responsibility to protect clean water at it's source. The call out is for help to PRESSURE THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT TO STOP THE DESTRUCTION of these ecosystems which provide our clean drinking water sources.

Tell them about your community's struggle to stop the logging / industry within your watershed. Send them petitions, the protests, the injunctions, the arrests... All to protect your WATER! One community telling the world news about their watershed is a small story- EVERY community in the province experiencing similar situations IS THE STORY. The story is that this is MANY Communities and MANY watershed/reserves. This is a province wide movement. The world needs to know what is happening here - this is truly a GLOBAL CONCERN.
Please send your community's story to as many world environmental organizations, and world news outlets that you can. Remember: the common ground for all is BBC World News.
